Davao Central District envisions to produce learners who are proactive, self directed, equipped for lifelong learning, keep with information technology that leads to sustainable accomplishment adaptable to a fast changing global environment by highly competent and committed teachers with supportive stakeholders and a value laden curriculum which addresses the cognitive, psychomotor needs of the child for a culture of excellence.
To attain this vision, the district has this mission: provide opportunities for the learners to develop their potentials in literacy and numeracy, values formation and other skills that will make them competent, God-fearing individuals, responsible, law abiding and useful citizens in their community, improve managerial capability and instructional leadership to meet and ensure excellence management of administrators and instructional competence of classroom manager, collaborate / coordinate and establish harmonious relationship between and among stakeholders to respond concerns of schools, parents and community, and work with them as partners in the educational process. Teachers must be able to help all students increase conceptual understanding and analytical ability.
