*      Implementation of the BARP and the different School Reading Programs

An orientation on eReading Module 1 and BARP (Be A Reader Program); and Strategic Planning of all School English Coordinators, Reading Coordinators and Phil. IRI Encoders/Coordinators in conceptualizing the School Reading Program on October 26-28, 2009 was held at Davao City Library Hub Conference Room.  This was monitored by the District Supervisor, Ms. Alma A. Castillo and the school administrators of the seven schools in this district.  The different reading programs of the seven schools were presented and ratified to their respective schools on October 29-30, 2009 by the School Reading and English Coordinators, at the same time, an orientation of the eReading Module 1.  On October 30, 2009 P.M., all schools submitted the ratified school reading program to the District English/Reading Coordinator, Brenda B. Jacobo.  On November 03, 2009, the District Reading Program and the School Reading Programs were submitted to the office of the ASDS, Dr. Ma. Ines C. Asuncion. All the Reading Programs presented were approved and monitored by the administrators.
